Our private client wanted a surface that was easier to clean and maintain around their stable yard, so we recommended Tarmac as a practical upgrade. However, the area was naturally flat, meaning surface water would quickly become an issue without proper drainage.
To resolve this, we installed a channel drain along the centre line of the stable yard, creating the minimal fall needed for water to flow away efficiently. This ensured the surface could handle rainfall without any pooling or standing water.
The result is a smooth, durable Tarmac yard that is far easier to maintain, with reliable drainage that keeps the area safe and usable all year round.
